Primary responsibilities
Provides part-time support to the Environmental Programs team by promoting and implementing sustainable waste minimization and recycling practices across university operations; maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment within the Regulated Materials Facility and Central Accumulation Area; and assisting laboratory personnel with hazardous waste management, laboratory clean-outs, and environmental compliance guidance to support safe and responsible research and teaching activities.

Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Iowa State University

40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response
8-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Refresher
Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, Institute of Hazardous Materials Management
