Laboratory Safety Workshop - Spring 2024

The Department of Environmental Health and Safety will offer three Laboratory Safety Workshop training sessions at the beginning of the spring semester for on-campus laboratory workers.

The workshop will cover:

• Lessons learned from laboratory incidents.
• Hazard Assessment workshop.
• Hands-on experience with proper hazardous waste disposal.

Session dates

Monday, Jan. 8 | 1-3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 10 | 5-7:30 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 12 | 9-11:30 a.m.

Laboratory workers can self-enroll for this training in Workday Learning.

Reminder: You must complete the Laboratory Safety: Core Concepts and Safety Data Sheets Training online courses before attending the Laboratory Safety Workshop.
