SUMMARY:CPR\, AED\, First Aid Training
DESCRIPTION:Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)\, AED & First Aid is a reco
 mmended course. This class is designed for participants to learn and be ce
 rtified in Adult and Pediatric CPR\, First Aid\, and Automated External De
 fibrillator (AED) by the American Heart Association. Topics include: breat
 hing and cardiac emergencies\; identifying and caring for bleeding\; carin
 g for sudden illness and injuries\; preventing disease transmission\; and 
 AED training. This course also serves as a recertification course for CPR 
 and First Aid.\n\nSnacks\, beverages\, and lunch are not provided\, partic
 ipants are responsbile for these items.\n\nPayment is completed through FA
 MIS and will require you to provide worktag information to ehstrain@iastat
 e.edu. This will not be billed until after the session has finished. If yo
 u need to cancel your registration\, you must request a refund no later th
 an 5 business days before the training or you will still be charged.  EH&S
  reserves the right to cancel the course due to low enrollment.  If there 
 are less than 6 people enrolled 5 business days prior to the class date\, 
 the class may be cancelled.  You will be given the option to enroll in ano
 ther section at a later date. \n\nPrice is subject to change.\n\nParking -
  there is a $5.00 fee to park if you do not have a current ISU parking per
 mit.  If you plan to drive\, please ensure your vehicle has the current pa
 rking permit displayed.  EH&S does not issue visitor parking permits.  If 
 you do not have a current ISU parking permit\, you can park in a metered s
 pace and pay to park.
