DESCRIPTION:Fire Safety and Extinguisher Training provides hands-on practic
 e using a fire extinguisher in addition to classroom instruction. The cour
 se covers safety and emergency procedures for preventing and responding to
  a fire emergency.  Participants learn common ignition sources of fires an
 d good practices for the storage of flammable and combustible materials wi
 th the goal of preventing fires\; what to know and do ahead of time in ord
 er to be prepared for a fire emergency\; the proper steps to take in the e
 vent of a fire\; when to use a fire extinguisher and how to handle the ext
 inguisher by putting out a simulated fire.
