Research Safety
EH&S provides to the Iowa State University community comprehensive environmental, safety and health services, designed to promote safe work practices, protect health and minimize the institution's impact on the environment. Many of these services are tailored specifically to the research community and have their basis in local, state and federal laws and regulations. Services offered include laboratory safety, chemical waste management, biological and radiological safety, OSHA and EPA compliance, safety training, occupational health services, and emergency response preparedness.
