Administration
EH&S employs full-time professional and technical personnel who are trained and educated in providing guidance on environmental, occupational health and safety issues. These staff members work within the major program areas of Biosafety, Emergency Response Preparedness, Environmental Programs, Health and Safety, and Radiation Safety. This office is also the primary contact for federal, state and local regulatory agencies regarding matters of employee health, safety and environmental issues. EH&S is structured so that professional managers are responsible for supervising specific safety programs. These responsibilities include the identification of university needs, oversight of regulatory requirements and the development of safety services to provide proper oversight and coverage.
We are located in the Environmental Health and Safety Services Building (EHSSB) on Daley Drive. Our office hours are from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
