Primary Responsibilities

Manage the ISU cost recovery operations involving asbestos and lead abatement for compliance with regulations issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA). This includes conducting building surveys, developing project designs and operating an asbestos identification and fiber counting laboratory. Coordinate similar asbestos and lead project monitoring for the Iowa School for the Deaf and the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School.
